Back in the past, I had good experiences with the oils that Vered has produced, which makes me curious about their range. When I first heard about the Vered Organic Botanicals Detox Mask from a friend, I was tempted to buy one. Honestly, I am not a very big fan of masks because I find them to be extremely common. With over two orders complete, this cannot be said about the Detox Mask from Vered.
What it contains: Being a certified organic product, the product is undoubtedly safe for the skin. While it may be tough to understand the scientific names, but I would still like mention a few ingredients for those who are interested in common terms. It includes black walnut hulls, turmeric root, ashwagandha root, chickweed and neem. Other ingredients include vegetable glycerin, a mix of 100% pure essential oils, and vitamin E. Needless to mention, there is a lot that has gone in the making of the product.
Why I like it: I am a person who suffers from bouts of pimples of acne almost every month, and the pores seem to be more clogged than ever before. However, this mask is a smart solution that works on the pimples better than I expected. For those who find a pimple coming out, they can try putting a little of this mask on the area, and I bet the pimple will not surface at the first place. Obviously, I loved the product for being organic and having all those immensely popular ingredients, but the results are more than what the cover can say. Though I am not totally sure, but the Detox mask also works on reducing the blemishes to a good extent. Not to forget, I find the skin clarity has improved, something that brings a lot of glow.
How to use: The mask is clearly mentioned to be used on the damp skin, something that I missed on the first use. If you are using it for the first time, make sure you damp the skin and use the mask for a good time. Although the label tells you for a period of 10-15 minutes, I do keep it longer with a small hope of better result. My friend likes to tell me that 25 minutes works well for most kinds of masks. You can later wash off the mask with warm water.
Final word: With neem that keeps pimples at bay and goodness of black walnut hulls, this product is a good bet from Vered. I have owned many masks and can clearly say this one works great, even when you are having a combination skin like me. For those who are bored with the regular clay masks, this product should be a value for money deal that is hard to resist after first use.
